| Naruto Storm 3, blood included! Fans have wanted more blood in the Storm series and it looks like CyberConnect2 is making those wishes come true. At least that’s according to the Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB) who reviews games to determine what age rating a game will get. As you may have seen on the box art here on Saiyan Island, Storm 3, like all the Naruto games before it, is rated T for Teen in North America.
Below is what the ESRB says for Naruto Storm 3. Based on the 4 sentence review, it seems Hanzo’s ultimate jutsu may be the referenced item with “blood-spatter” so we personally would not take the inclusion of blood too seriously!
This is an action-fighting game in which players engage in one-on-one battles against characters from the Naruto Shippuden franchise. Characters punch, kick, and use special moves (e.g., fireballs, swords, throwing weapons) to drain opponents’ life meters. Small blood-splatter effects occur when characters strike opponents with bladed weapons. One scene depicts a character slashing at a non-adversary and an enemy during a standoff; another cutscenes depicts two characters impaled on a creature’s claw—blood appears on the claw as well as the characters’ mouths.
